… all from a single source
Attractive technology and tool packages with everything the professional needs for an expert FTTx installation
Our FTTx packages are available with a choice of four different splicers from our technology partner INNO Instrument. All models can be combined with the L, M and S packages. The devices in the M+ and View X series are integrated into the free View Pro Cloud Management System, which enables an entirely new level of remote management (tracking function, device management, reports and data as well as work / job management).
The M9+ and the View 8X also meet the requirements of Telekom “ZTV-TKNetz 48”.

The splicers in our FTTx packages
The M7+ is a cladding alignment splicer (Active V-Groove) with an ultra-portable design, and one of the most powerful fusion splicers on the market in this segment. Despite its compact size and low weight, the M7+ has virtually all the dynamic features for which INNO Instrument is renowned.
The M9+ is a core alignment splicer and meets the requirements of Telekom “ZTV-TKNetz 48”.
The main difference to the View X series is the deliberately compact design with a 4.3” display and a slimmer battery.
An optical system with × 320 resolution was integrated into an ultra-portable design and powerful lighting ensures comfortable working, even in difficult on-site lighting conditions.
The View 3X is the most precise cladding alignment splicer (Active V-Groove) on the market and still scores with extremely fast splicing and heating cycles. This achieves a completely new level of comfort, safety and productivity.
On the high-resolution 5-inch color LCD touchscreen with intuitive, user-friendly interface, the operator benefits from the highest available resolution: the × 520 magnification enables enormously detailed control.
The View 8X is a core alignment splicer and meets the requirements of Telekom “ZTV-TKNetz 48”.
This device’s features are not lacking in superlatives. Splicing time: 4 seconds. Heating time: 9 seconds. Battery power: 500 work cycles. Magnification: × 520.
Plus a high-resolution 5-inch color LCD touchscreen, intuitive user interface, robust design, large memory for measured values and documentation images.
What are the differences between the FTTx packages?
Large—Highest efficiency
The FTTx package L includes everything you need for professional and fast fiber optic installation. In addition to crimp and shrink splice protection, the set includes a variety of hand tools and cleaning utensils so that every cable can be opened neatly and every fiber can be cleaned accurately and with maximum efficiency. To test the constructed route, a red light source, an attenuation measuring station with five different wavelengths and an optical fiber inspector for signal measurement without a connector are included.
Medium—Full range of functions
The FTTx package M is somewhat slimmer, but leaves nothing to be desired. All equipment for protecting sensitive splice points is included, as is the comprehensive tool set. A selection of cleaning tools helps with the preparation of splicing work and measurements. Completed installations are measured using the simple but high-precision attenuation measuring station or checked with a red light source.
Small—The essentials
Reduced to the essentials, the FTTx package S contains the necessary accessories for splicing work. In addition to shrink splice protectors in 3 different lengths, it also includes stripping pliers, Kevlar scissors, a stripping tool and a loose tube cutter. Cleaning agents, cleaning cloths and two different click cleaners for quick connector cleaning are also included, and the route is verified using a red light source.
Fiber optic installation steps
Professional installation in FTTx expansion requires further work steps in addition to the splicing itself:
For these tasks, KWS offers you carefully compiled packages with the necessary tools and consumable materials for the professional. And with an attractive price advantage.
The FTTx packages are available in sizes S, M and L (Small, Medium and Large), each in combination with a splicer from INNO Instrument.
