For KWS, the fair was all about DOCSIS 3.1, which attracted a lot of interest. Many cable network operators as well as complex service providers of the large operators will come in contact with the subject in the coming months and years.
In advance, the DOCSIS 3.1 approach pursued by KWS was advertised via our news on the homepage, via our newsletter, via a roadshow on the subject, as well as a report in the industry magazine Cable!Vision (edition 4/2018).
However, the resulting rush could not hide the fact that visitor numbers on the part of the craft sector declined significantly. This trend is not new and affects the entire event, not just the number of visitors at the KWS booth. On the network operator side, however, the response was very good, many appointments were arranged in advance, so that our meeting rooms were always well filled.
All in all, the entire KWS team is happy about a successful trade show with an appealing booth design, good discussions, interesting presentations at the affiliated congress and as well as one or two delicacies (which must also be allowed for five days of traveling, booth construction and trade fair time).
Many thanks to all visitors for coming!
